In order to achieve our £2.5m minimum Appeal target we will need
support from all of our stakeholders. All donations of whatever size
will play an important part in enabling us to provide this major new
facility. Each and every gift will bring the Appeal one step
closer to reaching its target, and will be greatly appreciated and
properly acknowledged in Redbridge Sports & Leisure's publications and
on the Redbridge Sports & Leisure website (although requests for
anonymity will of course be fully respected).
MAJOR
DONORS
Major
gifts are essential if the Appeal target is to be achieved. We
will be delighted to publicly recognise any organisation or individual
donating £25,000 or more (including Gift Aid where applicable, and as
a single gift or phased over a 3 year period) as a Major Donor who
will be invited to the official opening of the New Sports Hall, have
their names recorded on a Major Donor board within the building, and
receive an honorary life membership of Redbridge Sports & Leisure.
NAMING
OPPORTUNITIES
Although
the scheme has working title of the New Sports Hall, we very much
welcome any expressions of interest in naming the building after a
company or individual. Any such discussions will be treated with
utmost confidentially.
MAKING
THE MOST OF YOUR SUPPORT
As
the Trust is a registered charity the value to the Appeal of donations
made by taxpayers (corporate or individual) will be considerably
greater (especially in the case of higher rate taxpayers) than the
actual cost to the donor. This applies to:
-
single
or phased donations by companies (who can claim corporation tax
relief)
-
single
or phased personal donations, using Gift Aid
-
donations
through a tax exempt charitable trust
-
direct
transfer of assets - stocks, shares, property or works of art
Full
details are contained in the Appeal brochure and a Gift Aid
declaration is included on the donation form.
