The New Sports Hall Appeal was launched at the Houses of Parliament on 27th November 2008.

The highly successful evening was attended by over 100 "home team" members and guests from the sporting world.  These included Amanda Newton, former England Netball Captain, Gail Emms, Badminton Mixed Doubles Champion, 2006 & Ray Clemence, MBE,  England Goalkeeper with 61 caps from 1972 - 1983.

The reception was co-hosted by Lee Scott MP for Ilford North, whose support for the project is greatly appreciated.  We were also most grateful for the help and assistance provided by his wife Estelle in organsing the event.
