Changes to Online Bookings Process

Important Update
The Management Team have recently completed a review of our bookings processes and following staff & member feedback, we will be applying some changes to the way court bookings are made online, with the aim of simplifying the process both for the person making the booking as well as for those who are attending to play.

These changes will take effect from 1st October, in line with our recent pricing review. (NB. There are currently no planned changes for gym, classes and social session bookings.)

Executive Members
You will see the option of booking an “All Executives” court, which you can use when all players on court have an Executive Membership. Your booking will be for your share of the court and the other Executive members will need to book in advance via reception (by phone or in person) to cover their share of the court.

Your second option will be to book an “Executive vs Others” court, and at the time of booking you will need to pay for the other share of the court, which you can then collect from your playing partner/s. They will then have nothing to pay to RSL on arrival for the booking.

Centre Members
You will see a single option online, to book and pay for the court in full at the time of booking, at a discounted rate to reflect your membership. You can then collect a share of the cost from your playing partner/s. They will have nothing to pay to RSL on arrival for the booking.

NB. If you are playing an Executive member, they will need to make the initial court booking to access their share of the court at no cost.

Non-Members
You will see a single option online, to book and pay for the court in full at time of booking. You can then collect a share of the cost from your playing partner/s. They will have nothing to pay to RSL on arrival for the booking.

We acknowledge that this requires the person making the original booking to cover the full cost of attending, but this is in response to consistent feedback from users that it is too complicated for all users to have to make bookings to cover their share of the playing cost.

Other bookings Terms & Conditions, such as ability to amend or cancel courts in advance, and the issuing of dishonour fees for incomplete or unattended bookings remains unchanged.

More information of the changes and how they will be implemented will be available from Reception shortly.
