Redbridge Sports Centre Trust Announcement

Dear All,

I trust this message finds you well. It is with a mix of sadness and gratitude that we announce Ken Leggate’s resignation as our Chief Executive Officer, effective 31st March 2024, to pursue other opportunities. Ken has been a vital part of Redbridge Sports & Leisure (RSL) for an impressive 32 years, with 20 years at the helm. We extend heartfelt appreciation to Ken for his unwavering commitment and significant contributions.

We’re pleased to announce that Wayne Alexander, currently RSL’s Centre Manager, will step into the role of Interim Chief Executive Officer. Wayne’s experience and understanding of our operations make him the ideal leader during this transition.

As we begin the search for a new Chief Executive Officer, our commitment to continuity and stability for our members and community remains steadfast. RSL will continue to provide outstanding sporting and social facilities under the guidance of our Executive Board.

On behalf of the Executive Board and RSL staff, I express our sincere gratitude to Ken Leggate for his service and wish him the very best in his future endeavours.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to Redbridge Sports & Leisure. Together, we will thrive and serve our community with excellence.

Warm regards,

Mrs Ras Gohil Chair, Executive Board Redbridge Sports & Leisure
