Jack Petchey Award Nominations

On Monday 31st March, we hosted our annual Jack Petchey Achievement Awards Ceremony.

12 of our winners enjoyed an evening of celebration in the Edna Clarke Café. Playing games and being entertained by Joseph, a past winner and amazing magician.

All the winners are aged between 11-25 and have been recognised for their contribution towards their sport at Redbridge Sports & Leisure.

Each winner was awarded with a medallion and certificate by our Chair of Trustees Ras Gohil. Also in attendance to celebrate the winners were members of our Executive Board, the Senior Management team, Sports Development Officers as well Family and Friends.

Each winner receives a £300 grant to spend on their sports. In 2024 the grants were spent on equipment for gymnastics, tennis and academy of sport, a young leaders course, tickets to sporting events, and team building sessions.

Congratulations to these amazing young people, who have all shown a positive attitude and are great role models for their peers.

Winners for January – June 2025 will soon be announced, please check our Jack Petchey noticeboard, outside the gymnastic hall, in the main building for the winners.
